Located in a quiet, peaceful environment overlooking Mount Keira & Mount Kembla. "Nan Tien" in Chinese, literally means "Paradise of the South". This is the biggest Buddhist temple in the southern hemisphere and is one of the branch temples of Fo Guang Shan, founded by Master Hsing Yun.

I found out that it is a very popular Buddhist temple and it is one of the most popular Chinese attractions.

Hi my name is Jared.We had a lot of fun at the Nan Tien temple. The best part of the trip was when we had lunch because the food was really delicious.I found the art gallery because the sculptures and the paintings were interesting as well. There was even a 100 Yr old log and someone carved it into the Buddha and some other important people including the queen ''Kuan Lin''. And thanks for the information that i didn't know.(:

We loved it there, the most enjoyable and interesting part was hearing about there saint Main Lin and how she wanted to help everyone in the world. We stayed there for 5 hours and we had lots of fun.
